FAQ

Questions people ask first.

Everything about how a campaign gets built, what stays under your control, and what it costs. If something isn’t here, ask a human before you sign up.

01

Getting started

What you need before your first build, and how long it takes.

How long does a campaign really take?

Under 15 minutes for a typical single-location service business on two platforms. Larger sites with many services take longer to read, and your review time is your own.

What does it need from my website?

A public URL. Clear service and pricing pages produce a sharper campaign; if something important isn’t on the site, you can add it to the business profile by hand.

Do I need to connect my ad accounts?

Only if you want to publish from here. You can build, review and export a full campaign without connecting anything, then hand the export to whoever runs your accounts.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Build your first campaign free, all the way through review. You only need a plan to publish or export it.

02

Building a campaign

What gets produced, and how much of it you can change.

Can I edit what it produces?

All of it. Keywords, match types, negatives, headlines, descriptions, budgets, geo, schedules and creative briefs are editable fields — and your edits feed back into the profile.

Which platforms can it build for?

Google Ads and Meta Ads. A campaign is one full build for one platform, so a two-platform launch is two builds against the same business profile.

Does it create the creative?

It writes one creative concept per angle — format, shot direction and caption — as a brief your designer or editor can execute, alongside the ad copy with character counts already validated.

Is it a replacement for my agency?

It replaces the setup weeks, not the judgement. Plenty of agencies use it as the first draft and spend their time on strategy, creative and optimisation instead.

03

Control and publishing

The approval gate, and what happens at the moment of launch.

Does buildBetterAds launch campaigns on its own?

No. Every campaign is delivered paused. Publishing requires you to connect the ad account, confirm the daily cap and press approve. Nothing spends before that.

Can it change budgets after launch?

Not on its own. Post-launch work arrives as recommendation cards — what to pause, scale, refresh or test — and each one waits for a human to accept it.

What if I only want the export?

That’s a supported ending. Export the campaign and load it into Google Ads Editor or Meta Ads Manager yourself; nothing about the build assumes you will publish from here.

04

Plans and billing

What a campaign costs, and what the price does not include.

Does the price include ad spend?

No. You pay Google and Meta directly from your own accounts. buildBetterAds never takes a percentage of spend and never charges your ad account.

What counts as a campaign?

One full build for one platform — strategy, keywords or angles, ads and setup. Rebuilding the same campaign after edits doesn’t count again.

Can I change plan or cancel?

Any time, from the workspace settings. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period, and your campaigns and profiles stay accessible.

05

Data and workspaces

Where your business information lives and who can reach it.

How is my data handled?

Your profile, campaigns and account connections stay inside your workspace. Agency workspaces are isolated from one another, and nothing is used to train shared models.

Can agencies keep clients separate?

Yes. Each client gets its own workspace with its own members, business profile, ad account connections, campaign history and approvals.

What happens to a campaign if I leave?

Export everything first — campaigns, profiles and evidence stay available for the whole billing period after a downgrade or cancellation.
